How many kids do Damian Lillard and Kay'La have together?

Dame and Kay'La have three kids together. The firstborn is a boy named after the All-Star guard, Damian Jr., who was born in March 2018. The twins were born in January 2021, months before the couple got married.

In September 2021, Dame and Kay'La tied the knot, following the point guard's proposal in February 2020. The couple would stay married until 2024 when their divorce was finalized.

Lillard doesn't think he needs a title to solidify his career

Damian Lillard has achieved numerous awards in the league since he was drafted in 2012. Dame has racked up All-Star selections, All-NBA selections and even won the Rookie of the Year over Anthony Davis. But the Larry O'Brien trophy is missing in his career.

However, Lillard thinks his lack of an NBA championship shouldn't define what he has worked hard for. In an interview with The Athletic's Eric Nehm on Monday, the veteran guard talked about his legacy and impact in the league.

"You would think if I won it, there would be nothing that they could say, but I think people know how f--king good I am," Lillard said.
"People know — at least the people who know what they're watching — or I wouldn't have been on the 75th anniversary team. If you're talking about fans and people that are on TV just randomly saying their opinion, it's like, 'All right.'"

The 2024-25 season is Lillard's second campaign with the Bucks after 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. Milwaukee traded for the All-Star in hopes of boosting their chances of winning another championship with Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Unfortunately, his first season with the Bucks didn't go well, as they dealt with injuries, especially when the postseason started. Lillard played well last season, averaging 24.3 points, 4.4 rebounds and 7.0 assists in 73 games.
