"Democrat little f**kboy"- Kwame Brown questions why 'Diddy' Combs' alleged video assaulting Cassie Ventura leaked after eight years
Former NBA star Kwame Brown took to social media to question why rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs alleged video of assaulting ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura leaked after eight years. The journeyman, who played for seven franchises in his career, has been vocal about matters on and off the sport. The latest was his two cents on the violent clip of Diddy allegedly beating up Ventura.
Brown let out an expletive-filled tirade on Twitter/X in a clip spanning just over four minutes.
"The media know about it, didn't it? Ah man, that n***a is a b**** a*** n****a. You mean to tell me wholly, the damn n***a was running up the hallway shouting at a woman and slapping her. Why hasn't this video surveillance been released? Why is this video out right now?
"This video is from years ago. You need to tell the hotel staff, the security, and all these people... none of them said anything about this video? You can see, I don't know if you see, but a man dragging a woman up the hall and nobody says nothing. And you want me to think that Diddy is just a sick m*********r? When nobody says anything, this woman is on the floor bawling. Now the only thing anybody gotta say is when Cassie give a lawsuit?"
Kwame Brown further claimed there may have been more reason for the tape to be leaked after eight years and that it had something to do with his Democratic connection.
"This n***a has been telling the Black community to vote. Vote or die! Vote or die! Because he's a democrat pawn and that's why. A Democrat little f***boy who beat up women. You guys are protecting this man, and y'all are as sick as he is."
Safe to say, this clip and the spotlight on the rapper will surely garner steam in the days to come.
Here's a look at Brown's take on the whole incident.
"JUST IN: Former NBA Player Kwame Brown suggests Diddy has been protected for decades because of his connections to the Democrat establishment & his role in encouraging black voters to vote Democrat. He questions why Diddy’s sordid life & new tape is only being released now?"
According to a CNN report, the clip was filmed at the now-closed InterContinental Hotel in Century City, Los Angeles. The video has now surfaced in the wake of allegations by Cassie Ventura about her ex-boyfriend and producer in a lawsuit that was filed last year.
As for Kwame Brown, the forward was selected first overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2001 NBA draft. He became the first player to be drafted number one overall straight out of high school. He later played for the LA Lakers, Memphis Grizzlies, Detroit Pistons, Charlotte Hornets (then called the Bobcats), Golden State Warriors, and Philadelphia 76ers.
A look at the abuse case that unfolded in 2016 between Sean Diddy Combs and Cassie Ventura
CCTV footage of rap mogul Sean 'Diddy' Combs attacking singer Casandra 'Cassie' Ventura in a hotel hallway has reportedly been doing the rounds. The video has resurfaced since drawing all the attention on social media.
Per a Page Six report, she was photographed two days later and seemingly had several bruises while walking the red carpet for her movie premiere, 'The Perfect Match,' where both Diddy and her arrived hand in hand. Her sleeveless dress reportedly showed off a bruise on her upper left arm, while black and blue bruises was seen on her legs.
CNN released the video footage on Friday showing the rapper violently throwing Ventura to the ground by her neck and then kicking her as she was heading for the elevator. The 54-year-old was also seen grabbing her belongings from the floor, kicking her again, and dragging her by her black hoodie across the hallway. The abuse she endured in the video was referenced in the November 2023 abuse and rape lawsuit Ventura filed against Combs.
