Dennis Rodman's daughter Trinity Rodman has a 3-word cheer for Commanders for NFL wild-card game vs Buccaneers
Trinity Rodman, daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman, showed her support for the Washington Commanders on Instagram. She shared a post from the team's account on Sunday and added a three-word reaction on her Instagram Story.
"Let's get it," Trinity wrote.
Trinity, a player for the Washington Spirit, has a local connection to the Commanders. Her team also extended well-wishes to the NFL team ahead of its wild-card game.
"From one DC football team to another! Wishing the @Commanders the best of luck in their wild card matchup today! Take Command. Wherever, whenever. The DMV is behind you!" Washington Spirit captioned.
The Commanders will face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. The game is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. EST at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
The game is expected to be a high-scoring affair. The Commanders finished the regular season with a 12-5 record and secured the No. 6 seed in the playoffs.
Trinity Rodman on her relationship with her father Dennis Rodman
Trinity Rodman spoke to Alex Cooper on the Dec. 18 episode of the "Call Her Daddy" podcast where she talked about her relationship with her father, Dennis Rodman. She shocked fans when she called him out for not being a dad as he was absent from her life despite occasional public appearances.
"I've tried to make it obvious that I don't know how he's feeling, and I don't know where he is," Trinity said. "I don't want to blame the interviewers, but at the same time, I've made it clear that he's not present.
"I do believe that he wishes that he could fight his demons. I roll my eyes because you hear something so many times, but he does nothing to change it. Like, 'I wish I was a better dad.' He said that in so many interviews. It's like, OK. Then do something."
She added that her relationship with her father became strained after his divorce from her mother, Michelle Moyer, in 2012. She then recalled how it was tough living in a car with her mom and brother at the time.
She also talked about how she felt when she listened to his interviews about his style of parenting. She said that Dennis often expresses regret but doesn't take the necessary actions to change.
