Dennis Rodman's daughter Trinity Rodman recalls "crying her eyes out" after Bulls legend abruptly showed up to her game

While widely regarded as being the best rebounder ever, Dennis Rodman is most remembered for his vibrant personality. This had a major impact on his life on and off the court, most notably with his family.

To this day, Rodman's relationship with his daughter Trinity is rocky at best. During a recent interview, the rising soccer star opened up on the Chicago Bulls legend randomly showing up at one of her games.

On Wednesday, Trinity Rodman was a guest on the "Call Her Daddy" podcast. As expected, her relationship with Dennis Rodman was a focal point of discussion. While talking about their situation, she opened up about breaking down emotionally when Dennis came to watch her play in person.

"I hear him go 'let's go Rodman, let's go Trinity," Trinity said. "And I'm like oh my f***** God. Like there's no way this is happening right now. Mind you, I haven't seen or talked to him in months.
"Finished that half and then cried my eyes out in the locker room at halftime."

Back in 2021, Trinity made history as the youngest draft pick in National Women's Soccer League history. She's played in 82 games for the Washington Spirit, recording 23 goals in that time.

Along with her pro career, Trinity has also had the chance to represent her country in international play. This past summer, she was among the women chosen to suit up for the U.S. women's team in the Summer Olympics.

Trinity Rodman reflects on postgame encounter with Dennis Rodman after surprise appearance

While Trinity was displeased to see Dennis Rodman in the crowd, she still went to see him after the game ended. Despite originally being filled with anger, she managed to find a positive outlook on the situation.

"I walk over there and all I did was cry," Trinity said. "I walk over there, he grabs my head and I just start balling into his arms.
"You haven't seen my games in three, four, five years, and I'm just like balling. I cried and then I was super happy. Let's take the positive of it, he's here."

Dennis Rodman achieved a lot of fame and notoriety for his enigmatic personality, but it came with a price. That being a good relationship with his family. Trinity has spoken out on numerous occasions about how she and the Hall of Fame forward aren't close.

Aside from his eye-popping off-court antics, Dennis went on to have a successful career in the NBA. He won a total of five championships with the Detroit Pistons and Bulls and had the chance to play alongside one of the greatest players ever, Michael Jordan.
