Derrick Rose's wife Alaina Rose captures son London channeling 1x NBA MVP's aura in braids & Grizzlies gear

Derrick Rose's wife, Alaina Rose, shared some moments of her youngest son, London Marley Rose, honing his basketball skills. She posted two videos of her son shooting the ball and practicing with other kids in the facility.

What stood out was London's Memphis Grizzlies jersey and his braids, which resembled those of his father.

In the first video, London shoots the ball and runs back to get in line to wait for his turn again.

"Only kids fear of God /// shoe in the world just saying," Alaina wrote followed by laughing and basketball emojis.

In the next video, London practiced his jumper from near the 3-point line in the corner.

"Workinnn 1 of 1," Alaina wrote followed by a star emoji.

Derrick Rose played with five teams in the NBA. He represented the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavaliers, New York Knicks, Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies. Rose ended his career after playing for the Grizzlies in 2023-24.

He won the Rookie of the Year award when he was 20 during the 2008-09 season. Two years later, at age 22, he became the youngest player to win the MVP in the NBA.

Derrick Rose celebrated his 36th birthday on Oct. 4. Interestingly, Alaina Rose's grandmother was born on the same day.

Alaina made a unique post on her social media. The wife of the former NBA player posted a wholesome picture of him holding Alaina's grandmother's hand while the family gathered around them.

Rose's wife also wrote a lovely caption.

"Happy birthday Granny & Hubby 💖," Alaina wrote.

"The loves of my life 🥲."

Derrick Rose and Alaina Anderson have been together since 2016, when Rose was still playing for the Bulls. Later that year, they made their relationship public when he switched to play for the Knicks.

Rose and Alaina married in 2023 and have two children together — a daughter, Layla (born 2018), and a son, London (born 2019). The three-time NBA All-Star is also the father of a son, Derrick Jr., from a previous relationship.
