Devin Booker chases down fan in Paris to gift him signature sneakers

It is hard to ignore the beauty of Devin Booker’s offensive game. Given his eye-catching jumpers to flying away fadeaways, Booker can find his fans across the world and he found one on the busy streets of Paris. The Phoenix Suns star made sure that the fan knew he recognized his love.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, a Suns fan posted the picture of a fan in Booker’s jersey. According to the post, when the four-time All-Star saw his fan on the street, Booker chased him down to gift his Nike Book 1 “Python.”

“Devin Booker chasing down a dude wearing his jersey in Paris and gifting him a pair of book 1s right now... man of the people,” the user wrote.

The fan was seen changing into Book 1 “Python.”

Booker was live on his social media and he was apparently in the streets of Paris to distribute Nike Book 1 to fans. He found his fan standing with an LA Lakers fan who was wearing Kobe Bryant's #8 jersey. When Book approached the fan, he showed Booker’s jersey from behind.

When Booker asked the fan about his shoe size, the fan couldn’t catch his English and the Suns star had to ask someone from the crowd to translate it for him. Booker also signed the shoe for him. From the video, it doesn’t seem like the fan knew who he was talking to, perhaps he will soon find out.

Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 “Python” to release in September 2024

Devin Booker’s Nike Book 1 has been hot among basketball fans after an initial slow start. After dozens of colorways already in the market, Booker and Nike are adding one more colorway in Book 1. The shoe giant has decided to add a “Python” colorway in the latest installment.

The Nike Book 1 “Python” comes with an eye-catching snakeskin aesthetic and has a Python’ snake texture and design. The overall design of the shoe has been inspired by Air Jordan 1 and Air Force 1. The shoe also features a cream color accent throughout the shoe.

The tongue tag of the shoe features “Chapter One” written in text, while the pull tag features “96” in text. 96 denotes Devin Booker’s birthday year. The construction of the shoe follows the previous versions of Book 1. The shoe features a Zoom Air cushioning that helps players in explosive jumps.

Devin Booker's Book 1 Python is scheduled to be released in September later this year. It is expected to be priced $150 at Nike retail and online stores.
