Devin Booker passes yet another NBA veteran in all-time scoring list
Devin Booker just added another milestone to his already impressive résumé. During Friday night’s game against the Boston Celtics, the Phoenix Suns guard erupted for 37 points.
While the Suns couldn’t pull off the win, Booker’s big night helped him pass Hall of Famer James Worthy and veteran guard Kyle Lowry on the NBA’s all-time scoring list.
Now in his 10th season, Booker continues to assert himself as one of the league’s premier scorers. He’s averaging 25.9 points per game across 72 appearances this season, along with 4.1 rebounds and 7.0 assists.
Despite the Suns' underwhelming team performance this year, Booker remains a bright spot.
His offensive consistency continues to keep the Suns in playoff contention. While Kevin Durant chases the historic 30,000-point milestone, Booker is carving out his own legacy, one bucket at a time.
As the Suns push toward the postseason, all eyes will be on Devin Booker to maintain his momentum. His ability to score at will and lead in high-pressure situations makes him invaluable.
If he continues at this pace, Booker could soon be mentioned among the greatest scorers in NBA history.
Devin Booker's landmark season
Devin Booker’s name is now firmly etched among some of the NBA’s all-time greats. He recently passed Walter Davis to become the all-time leading scorer for the Phoenix Suns. Booker also achieved the feat in fewer games, 641 compared to Davis’ 766.
The achievement speaks volumes about the impact he’s had in Phoenix since entering the league in 2015.
Booker scored 34 points in that record-setting game against the Portland Trail Blazers. His performance included 9-of-18 shooting from the floor, 13-of-14 from the free-throw line, and three made threes.
It was a classic display of scoring versatility from the four-time All-Star.
He also recently dropped 41 points in a key win against the Chicago Bulls, helping the Suns stay in the playoff hunt.
That performance pushed him to seventh all-time in 40-point games among shooting guards, trailing only legends like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden.
Booker’s stats this season are as impressive as ever. He remains one of the top scorers in the league, currently ranked ninth in scoring average.
His influence on the Suns goes beyond numbers. Even in a season filled with inconsistency, Booker has been the anchor. He’s consistently elevated his play, taken on more responsibility, and continued to deliver in big moments.
With two Olympic gold medals, multiple All-NBA selections, and now franchise records under his belt, Devin Booker is building a Hall of Fame-worthy legacy, one that’s still far from finished.
