Did Klay Thompson wipe his Instagram clean of Warriors posts? Here's what we know

Klay Thompson is known as one of the top shooters from beyond the arc and established himself as a prominent figure in Warriors history. However, his time with the team ended when he joined the Dallas Mavericks this offseason. After leaving Golden State, Thompson removed his farewell message on his Instagram account as well as other posts about the Warriors.

User GSW Ball Report shared this information on X. Thompson previously posted an emotional message for the Warriors as his time with them ended. He stayed with the team for 11 seasons.

In addition to his off-court photos, he kept pictures of his work with ANTA and other posts related to the Mavericks.

He was originally drafted 11th overall by Golden State in 2011. He then became an integral part of the team's dynasty period. After solidifying his position with the Warriors, Klay Thompson will now be embarking on a new chapter as he joins forces with Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving.

Draymond Green revealed that he didn't try to change Klay Thompson's mind about leaving Golden State

This year's offseason marked the end of an era for the dynasty trio of Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green. They were able to establish their place alongside the greats after delivering four NBA championships to the Warriors franchise.

Following Thompson's exit, the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year revealed on the July 2 episode of "The Draymond Green Show" podcast that he didn't try to change Thompson's mind about leaving.

"... and the conversation starts as small talk, and you're just kind of prepping yourself," Green said. "... I was headed to my daughter's recital so I wasn't able to go as in-depth to the conversation as maybe I would have ... I was just able to listen, and it wasn't like, 'Yo, we could finish like this,' or, 'You should rethink this.'"

Green, Thompson and Curry two had incredible moments together in their journey to become one of the best championship trios ever. They had six NBA finals appearances and won individual honors as well.

As Green recalled the conversation they had, he felt that it was for the best. He preferred that his talk with Thompson didn't involve convincing or making him rethink his decisions. In the process, he appreciated how he was simply able to be there for a former teammate and a friend, rather than remain stuck in the past.

They enter the upcoming season as opponents but remain brothers off the court.
