"Divorce hit so hard he making content now": Fans react to Iman Shumpert's skit after his divorce settlement with Teyana Taylor
Former NBA player Iman Shumpert made headlines last month after his divorce with singer and actress Teyana Taylor. Now he's making comedic content about it online.
In a collab-post on Instagram with creator Trenell Adams, Shumpert takes part in a skit that sees his car repossessed due to him no longer being able to afford it after his divorce settlement.
"You gave that woman $1 million you can't afford this no more," the caption wrote.
Fans reacted to the skit, joining in on Shumpert bashing himself for the ugly breakup.
"Divorce hit so hard he making content now," commented one user.
"Made him move back to Chicago huh lol...don't play with Teyana please don't."
Users on X chimed in, joking that the skit isn't surprising because Taylor "was the boss in that relationship."
"Well, she is the boss or was the boss in that relationship. This man has been carried since LeBron. Let’s be real," wrote one X user.
Others commented on the silliness of the skit, with one joking that instead of giving up his car or making content, he should return to the NBA.
"Sh*t look like a Tubi movie," wrote one user.
"Come on Iman Shumpert tell me this ain't what it comes to..you 34 you still got some NBA years left go call the Knicks," one fan wrote.
