"Don't forget about Dray": Veteran Warriors forward Draymond Green provides timely reminder of his defensive presence

Draymond Green has found new tread on his tires this season after missing 27 games last season due to a suspension, re-establishing himself as one of the top defensive players in the NBA.

On Wednesday, Green neutralized Zion Williamson in Golden State's matchup versus the New Orleans Pelicans. He spoke to ESPN's Ohm Youngmisuk about his defensive effort.

"All summer hearing everyone talk about (Chet Holmgren) and (Victor Wembanyama). ... Don't forget about Dray," Green said after the game.

In four games this season, Green is averaging 4.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists, along with 1.3 steals and 1.0 blocks in 24.0 minutes per game. He's shooting 38.5% from the field and an eye-popping 42.9% from 3-point range.

Green has received immense praise following his heroic effort versus Williamson and the Pelicans.
