Drawing parallels to Celtics' duo, LeBron James' son Bronny James' elite basketball IQ entices Paul George ahead of NBA draft

LA Clippers star Paul George has showered Bronny James with praise ahead of the 2024 NBA draft. The big event is exactly one week away, and the conversation around some of the prospects is becoming more relevant in the NBA circles.

James is arguably the most famous player in this class, and everybody wants to say something about him. George isn't the exception and when he was asked about his favorite part of James' game in today's edition of his 'Podcast P,' the veteran swingman praised James' game.

"What's most impressive is his basketball savviness," George said. "His basketball IQ. He can do it all. I feel like he hasn't shown that he can really be elite at a lot of things, but I think he can be elite at a lot of things.
"He's like in that Derrick White [territory]. It was interesting that that's his comparison that he wants to be like. But I compare him to the Jrue Holiday, the Derrick Whites. Guys that are glue guys that can go do everything on the floor and help you win. That's kind of how I see him," George said.

George added that Bronny showed the ability to improve the talent around him during his time in AAU, making him an intriguing piece for the NBA.

Bronny has drawn a lot of attention for following his father's steps. He's become his own man now, but the biggest challenge of his basketball journey is still ahead of him.

Rich Paul says LeBron James is off playing with Bronny James

LeBron and Bronny James' agent, Rich Paul, has explained that the four-time NBA champion has seemingly given up on the idea of playing on the same team with his son.

"LeBron is off this idea of having to play with Bronny," Paul told ESPN's Jonathan Givony. ... "There's no deal made that it's guaranteed that if the Lakers draft Bronny at 55, he [LeBron] will re-sign. If that was the case, I would force them to take him at 17. ... The Lakers can draft Bronny and LeBron doesn't re-sign. LeBron is also not going to Phoenix for a minimum deal. ..."

After LeBron spent years stating this was his dream, it seems like he'll have the option to share the court with Bronny James, but not as teammates.
