Draymond Green's wife Hazel Renee expresses support for 'amazing community' led by LeBron James' wife Savannah James
Draymond Green’s wife, Hazel Renee, voiced her support on Tuesday for a community and platform led by LeBron James’ wife, Savannah James, designed to connect women with shared values, promoting empowerment and skill-building.
Renee shared on her Instagram story a video of Savannah talking about Let It Break. According to its website, the movement empowers women to break past limiting beliefs and achieve their full potential by promoting self-awareness, facilitating meaningful conversations, offering education and encouraging purposeful action.
In the video, Savannah appeared alongside co-founder April McDaniel and CEO Porsha Ellis, to summarize their experience with the community in one word. Alongside the clip, Hazel Renee added a caption expressing her admiration for the three leaders:
“Loooove being a part of this amazing community! [Led] by these 3 DOPE ladies,” Renee said.
In the video, Savannah described what she values most from Let It Break, selecting “knowledge” as her key takeaway.
“My word would be knowledge. I just think that having the community around me and people's shared experiences and learning from our facilitators through our workshops and programming has just been really important to me so knowledge would be my word,” she said.
This membership-based initiative provides resources, programming, and events that aim to nurture each member to push past personal expectations.
Hazel Renee calls her husband Draymond Green ‘1 of 1’
The Golden State Warriors’ defensive anchor and one of the league’s most cerebral players, Draymond Green received high praise from his coach, Steve Kerr, after a victory against the New Orleans Pelicans on October 30. He called Green one of the top defenders worldwide.
“(Draymond is) one of the best defenders in the world,” the coach said.
In response to this, Renee shared a graphic featuring Kerr’s quote on her Instagram story, captioning it:
“1 of 1.”
This season, Green has averaged 8.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.2 assists over 11 games. The Warriors hold the third-best net rating (10.9) and offensive rating (118.9), despite Klay Thompson’s departure. Moreover, the team also has the fourth-best defensive rating (108.0).
Green and Steph Curry faced Thompson, now with the Dallas Mavericks, on Tuesday, and had a cordial meetup before the game.
The Warriors claimed victory, with Green contributing 11 points, seven rebounds, six assists, three steals, two blocks, and a season-high plus-20 rating. Curry closed the game with 37 points, nine assists and five 3-pointers, including the game-sealing triple that clinched Golden State’s ninth win.
