Will Draymond Green join LeBron James if he doesn't get signed by the Golden State Warriors?
Draymond Green is one of the most important players in the success of the Golden State Warriors for his intelligent play. But with the way the Warriors have spent their budget, it's unlikely that Green will return to the roster when his contract is up. With a big contract, the four-time All-Star will demand a bigger offer from the team when the time comes.
According to spotrac.com, the defensive forward's contract will come to an end after next season. That is, if he exercises the final year on his four-year $100 million deal. If he chooses not to, he could walk away from Golden State and join a different team.
Most people are speculating that Green could join LeBron in Los Angeles. The two share an agent and have had friendly interactions with each other, and that could be a sign that Draymond has moved on to joining the four-time MVP.
Still, losing Green could hurt the Warriors in various ways. Either they flip him for future assets or a young star that they can utilize down the line.
