"Dude got finessed by Bron"- Memes pour in as Lakers GM Rob Pelinka's reactions watching Bronny James in action go viral

Considering his performances in the NBA Summer League, LeBron James' son Bronny James’ has not gotten off to the best of starts with the LA Lakers. The Lakers played their fourth game of the Summer League against the Houston Rockets. Bronny James made his third campaign appearance as his team lost to the Houston Rockets 99-80.

The LA Lakers haven't won a single game in the Summer League. However, the focus was on Bronny James, who returned with just eight points and went 3-14 from the field. He went 0-8 from the 3-point zone and had two steals, five rebounds and three turnovers in the Lakers' fourth loss.

General manager Rob Pelinka seemed frustrated watching Bronny and Co. from among the audience during the game. A clip posted by BricksCenter on X, formerly Twitter, showing this amassed a range of hilarious reactions from NBA fans.

“Dude got finessed by Bron,” a fan tweeted.
“Bronny looks like he’s being forced to play ball,” another fan tweeted.
“Nah just shame on his face, shame,” a fan's hilarious tweet read.

Fans also mentioned LeBron James in their tweets:

“LeBrick is out in a year. Why should he care,” a fan asked in their tweet.
“This would be hilarious if it wasn’t so entirely expected,” another fan tweeted.
“Bro like “ what in fresh hell is this??”” A fan asked in their tweet.

Fans had a field day with Bronny James’ most recent display.

Bronny James continues his disappointing start to the Summer League campaign

There is little doubt that Bronny James will need time to settle down to the demands of the NBA. His Summer League campaign makes for some disastrous reading. He returned with just four points and converted two of his nine attempts during his debut against the Sacramento Kings at the California Classic Summer League.

Bronny then did not play the Lakers’ second Summer League game against the Golden State Warriors due to a knee injury. He followed that up with an ordinary display against the Miami Heat, mustering three points and going 1-3 from the field.

Bronny James did return with five rebounds and three steals from the game and followed it up with his latest display against the Houston Rockets. In the post-game conference, he admitted he was going through a slump.

“I'm just looking forward to any basketball I play, no matter what level I'm playing at. I just feel like I'm in a little slump right now,” James said.

Bronny James' defensive game has been impressive. If only he could start seeing his shots drop, he could become an asset to the LA Lakers.
