"Dude is a narcissist" "No trash team drafts Bronny": Fans roar in discontent over latest LeBron James’ father-son NBA dream news
Fans react to news regarding LeBron James' plan to play with his son, Bronny James, in the NBA. The NBA draft is right around the corner and people are eager to find out which team will get a chance to draft the young prospect. Even with the recent update from Rich Paul about the father-son duo not focusing on potentially playing with each other, fans are still fixated on that.
On Wednesday, Paul confirmed that James isn't focused on the idea of playing with his son in the same team. Initially, that was his goal before he retired.
"LeBron is off this idea of having to play with Bronny,” Paul said. “If he does, he does. But if he doesn’t, he doesn’t."
Fans saw what Paul said regarding the update on James' and weren't content with what they found out. Here are some of what the fans had to say about the news.
"The most LeBron James move of all time, dude is a narcissist, not even his son is safe," a fan said.
"He is obviously saying that so no trash team drafts Bronny. He will play for the team where bronny gets drafted to," another fan said.
"LeBron is a known lair 😂 we don’t believe him," a fan wrote.
A few more fans expressed their thoughts on the news.
"They’re saying this so teams don’t take Bronny. Don’t fall for this bluff," a fan commented.
"Rich Paul needs to stfu because he not fooling nobody," another fan doesn't buy what Paul said.
"They gotta stop being so obvious 😂," a fan wrote.
Paul's claims about LeBron James goes against what other experts have said
Stephen A. Smith shared that LeBron James wants the Lakers to pursue Bronny James in the draft. Smith talked about it earlier this month, as the organization was also in search of their new head coach. As for that matter, the ESPN analyst also mentioned that James wants the Los Angeles team to pursue JJ Redick as the next head coach.
Even Bleacher Report's Eric Pincus reported that the Lakers are "widely expected" to draft the younger James in the upcoming draft. However, it wasn't clear which pick the team would use to draft Bronny.
The elder James is set to become a free agent if he doesn't pick up his player option with the Lakers. Drafting Bronny could influence his decision to stay in Los Angeles and hopefully sign an extension.
