Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union twin in white outfits to celebrate 10-year anniversary in lavish yacht getaway
In August 2014, Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union tied the knot in Miami. Their marriage is now a decade long and the couple has been living a happy married life. On Friday, Union took to her Instagram story and posted about their wedding anniversary.
Union reposted her husband's anniversary post where they can be both seen in white outfits and sharing an intimate moment on a yacht. While Wade donned a pair of white pants and matched it with a white jacket, Union wore a white bodycon dress.
Wade added the caption,
"10 years," Wade included a ring emoji and tagged his wife.
According to People, Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade got engaged in December 2013 after making their romance public in 2010. However, their relationship had its fair share of challenges.
Before their engagement, the couple broke up for a brief period. While Union was busy with her shooting schedules and Wade with his games, the couple were unable to spend time with each other. It also came to light that during their break, Wade had also fathered a child with Aja Metoyer.

Dwyane Wade played five more years in the NBA after his marriage. Despite the early issues in their relationship, Wade and Gabrielle Union developed a smooth partnership once they got married. In an interview with People in 2021, the couple opened up about the secret of their happy marriage.
Wade said that learning about each other and supporting his wife has been the key to their successful marriage.
"I'd like to say we've worked on it," Wade said. "It's about learning each other, learning what she wants for her life and for her career and trying to support all those things."
Union also shared that her marriage to the Miami Heat legend has been successful because they have been honest with each other. She then said that as a couple they share responsibilities and meet each other in the middle.
"This is both of our second marriages, and we're super transparent about that," Union said. "We didn't do it right, the first time around. There's another way — to be more collaborative and equitable. We humble ourselves, listen and we meet in the middle."
Wade added that he doesn't force his ideas and habits on his wife but tries to be a part of her life.
Union has been very open about her mental health struggles as well as with fertility. In all her struggles, Wade has always been on her side supporting her to navigate through difficulties.
