Gabrielle Union, the wife of NBA legend Dwyane Wade, celebrated Simone Biles' gold medal performance at the Paris Olympics by sharing an Instagram story highlighting the gymnast's achievement.
Biles, now the most decorated American gymnast, won her record-breaking fifth Olympic gold medal in the balance beam final, further cementing her legacy with the most Olympic medals in USA gymnastics history.

Prior to Biles’ competition, Union posted a playful skit where she did a cartwheel and humorously pretended to hurt herself before wishing Team USA good luck in gymnastics.
In the video, Union wore a full-sleeve Team USA jersey and casual shorts, did a cartwheel, and then seemingly strained her hamstring. Dwyane Wade, who appeared to be filming, reacted with, “not again” as the video cut off.
Union added a supportive message:
“Team USA, we love you, we are cheering for you, we are praying for you, but you’ve got this. Jordan, Simone, Suni, Jade, Hezly: we are rooting for you. Let’s go, Team USA!”
Simone Biles' journey to Paris 2024 has been challenging. After withdrawing from several events at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics due to mental health concerns, she took a necessary break to focus on her well-being.
