Dwyane Wade reveals why he and Gabrielle Union celebrate Christmas differently

In their decade-long marriage, Wade and Union learned a valuable lesson when it comes to celebrating holidays. According to Yahoo News, Wade told E! News that he and his wife have a different approach when it comes to Christmas. The NBA legend said that as a couple, they are more interested in creating memories than unwrapping gifts.

"Gab and I have learned it’s not about the price tag or going over the top with gifts." Wade said. "It’s about making it meaningful, something that speaks to who we are as a couple.
"We try to focus on experiences. It’s about creating memories, not just unwrapping a box. At the end of the day, it’s the thought and love behind the gift that counts. That’s how we keep it special every year."

Wade told People that taking lessons from their first marriage, he and his wife try to be "more collaborative and equitable" in their marriage.
