Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union hops on viral 'demure' trend as she shares snaps from tropical holiday in France
Dwyane Wade's wife Gabrielle Union has joined one of the latest TikTok trends with her most recent Instagram post. The Hollywood actress shared a series of pictures and videos on Thursday while on vacation in France alongside a group of people that included her husband.
Union asked her fans if her look for the trip was "demure," referring to the TikTok trend that took over social media.
"demure or nah? 😏," Union captioned the post.
Earlier this month, TikToker Jools Lebron shared a satirical video explaining why women should be conservatively at work. That video introduced the word "demure" to many people, which has gone viral now.
“You see how I do my makeup for work? Very demure. Very mindful,” Lebron said in the video. “I don’t come to work with a green-cut crease. I don’t look like a clown when I go to work. I don’t do too much. I’m very mindful while I’m at work. You see how I look very presentable? The way I came to the interview is the way I go to the job.”
"A lot of you girls go to the interview looking like Marge Simpson and go to the job looking like Patty and Selma. Not demure. I’m very modest. I’m very mindful. You see my shirt? Only a little chee chee out, not my cho cho. Be mindful of why they hired you,” Lebron added.
This word has taken over the internet since that moment, and now even Hollywood stars such as Gabrielle Union are embracing it. The actress showed a series of snaps of her trip in France with friends, Wade and even her daughter Kaavia.
Gabrielle Union has heartfelt message for Dwyane Wade
During their boat ride, Union posted a touching message for her husband. She posted a video on Instagram of their adventure in Paris and a picture of Wade with a big smile. Union wrote a short message to explain what it meant to her to see Wade smiling.
"His genuine smile is my kryptonite," Union wrote.
After attending the Paris Olympic Games, Wade and Union are still in the French capital. The Miami Heat legend covered the basketball tournament with NBC years after representing Team USA on the court. Union and Wade have done a lot of traveling in recent years, and Paris appears to be one of their favorite places.
