Dwyane Wade shares hilarious never-seen-before picture of daughter Zaya Wade
After a legendary NBA career, Dwyane Wade became a businessman and family man. On Sunday, the Miami Heat legend posted a picture of his daughter from her childhood on Instagram. It shows Zaya standing beside other children in a group while giving a thumbs-up to the camera.

Zaya Wade is one of two children D Wade has with his former wife, Siohvaughn Funches. They have a son, Zaire Wade, who was born in 2002. D Wade and Funches were married from 2002 to 2007.
Wade married Gabrielle Union in 2014. Zaya and Union have appeared together in several interviews.
After Zaya came out as transgender in 2020, Wade and Union have shown support. Wade later moved out of his home in Florida keeping his daughter's safety in mind.
Zaya Wade drove her "old man" Dwyane Wade for lunch
Dwayne Wade, 42, posted pictures of his daughter on social media on Sunday. One of the pictures was a selfie with Zaya and one of his close acquaintances. The former NBA player and his daughter donned similar black jackets and appeared to have ordered the same drink.

Zaya's name and gender had become a point of legal contention between her biological parents.
When D Wade filed a petition to get Zaya's name and gender legally changed, Funches opposed the change. She also alleged that her ex-husband was doing it for financial gain. However, the court later granted the name and gender change last year.
