Dwyane Wade showers 3-word praise on LeBron James' after stunning Olympic opener outing

Former Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade was impressed with how his former teammate LeBron James performed in Team USA's first win. The Americans took on the Serbians to start their Olympic games, ending in a 110 - 84 win on Sunday. Once again, James had a spectacular performance.

James finished with 21 points, seven rebounds and nine assists to help the national team past Serbia in their first game. He wasn't the only player to score at least 20 points as Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant came off the bench and added 23 points on 8-9 shooting from the field.

The current LA Lakers forward has continued setting an example for his teammates. He's shown how well he can lead by example, by constantly doing most of the work on the court. Wade is one of the stars who saw this firsthand but is still in awe of what James can do on the court.

The Heat legend showed how impressed he's been with his close friend on social media.

"That boy good!" Wade posted on his Instagram story.

Team USA's next game will be on Thursday, August 1, against South Sudan. While the Americans beat the Sudanese team during their exhibition games, they only held a one-point lead at the end of regulation. James also stood out in that game, finishing with 25 points, six rebounds and seven assists.

Team USA could look to him again as they avoid another game allowing the opposing team to come close to them.

Wade shared an advantage that LeBron James has against the game officials

Team USA had a slow start in the first period as they allowed Serbia to have a 10-2 lead against them. Luckily, the appearance of Durant on the court early in the game was one of the key moments. During one moment, however, LeBron James tried to re-enter the game.

As he was about to step into the court, the officials stopped him. The four-time NBA champion argued with the referees for quite some time to plead his case. Eventually, they allowed James inside the game once again. At that time, Wade, who was doing the commentary, shared something about his close friend that many don't know about.

"LeBron wins a lot of arguments against the ref.. he won again," Wade said.

James has been playing professional basketball since 2003 and has learned a few tricks along the way. One of the skills he has developed over the years is effectively communicating with referees and pleading his case.
