Dwyane Wade and wife Gabrielle Union share Christmas selfie as holiday season begins
Christmas is only a few days away and three-time NBA champion Dwyane Wade and his wife Gabriel Union are fully into the spirit of the holiday. Wade started the Christmas festivities a few days earlier by posting a selfie with Union on his Instagram Stories.
The picture itself did not have anything that indicated that the two were celebrating the festivities. However, it was what Wade added to the photo before posting it that gave it the holiday spirit.
Wade added some music to the selfie before posting it. Specifically, he placed a verse from Chris Brown's rendition of "This Christmas" which would play upon viewing the post.
This was not the only Christmas-themed post that Dwyane Wade put up on his Instagram Stories. Following the selfie with Gabrielle Union, he also posted an image of his youngest daughter, Kaavia Wade, lying down comfortably with her god sisters.
Wade said the Jackson 5's rendition of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town" over the image while also adding the following caption.
"Spending this Christmas with her God sisters." Wade wrote.
Following that, Wade shared some of the hustle and bustle that most people can relate to ahead of Christmas. He shared an image of him doing some "last-minute Christmas shopping."

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union appear at 'Out 100' event with Zaya Wade
A few weeks ahead of Christmas, Dwyane Wade, his daughter Zaya Wade and his wife Gabrielle Union graced a special event. They were one of the guests at "Out Magazine's" special event celebrating the members of the LGBTQ+ community that had the most impact in 2024.
Union shared several images from the event. Some featured the trio posing for photos, while some featured a clip of Zaya being interviewed.
According to Out Magazine's website, Out 100 celebrates "artists, disruptors, educators, groundbreakers, innovators, and storytellers" who have positively impacted the LGBTQ+ community. Zaya was named as one of the "groundbreakers" for the year of 2024.
Zaya came out as Trans in 2020 when she was only 12 years old, a year after her father Dwyane Wade officially retired from playing.
Later on, the Miami Heat superstar admitted that he was still learning things from Zaya. Wade was quoted saying the following.
"I'm not going to sit here and act like we have all the answers," Wade said. "I'm not going to sit here and act like before our child sat us down that we weren't ignorant parents. When I say we're learning from our 12-year-old, we're literally learning from our child."
Since coming out, Zaya Wade has been a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community as an influencer.
