Eddie House rants after Orlando Magic players avenge hilariously after getting called ‘garbage’: "It's a lot of haterism over there for real"

Former Boston Celtics champion Eddie House gave his opinion on the Orlando Magic after they beat Boston 117-109 Friday night. He said that Orlando's win did not matter because the Magic were "still garbage’.

However, his comments unfolded the wrong way after Orlando secured a second straight road victory over Boston, winning 95-92 on Sunday night.

Magic players did not take well to House saying that their team was bad, and made sure he heard it after their second victory against his former team.

House then went on another rant, claiming that the Magic were housing a lot of hatred:

“It’s a lot of haterism over there for real.”

After Eddie House called the Magic "garbage," several Magic players tweeted a GIF of House getting slapped in the back of the head by Rafer Alston after their win against the Celtics on Sunday 😳

The Magic (11-20), who are 13th in the East, have been on an absolute tear lately, capped with a 2-0 weekend against the now former Eastern Conference leaders. Boston (22-9) has lost four of its last five games, losing the top spot to the Milwaukee Bucks (21-8).

Sunday night's game was the Magic’s sixth straight victory. Paolo Banchero, the Magic’s rookie star, finished with 31 points.

“We just want to earn the respect of the league," Banchero said. "It's clear that a lot of people still don't respect us. We're just going to go out game by game and lock in. ... Until then, we're going to keep proving people wrong.”

The Magic rookie mentioned that House's comments made their way into Orlando’s team group chat, but that they ultimately were not concerned. To Orlando, which visits the Atlanta Hawks on Monday night, the focus remains on improving its game.

Paolo Banchero said Eddie House’s comments made the team’s group chat, and while it’s never great to hear someone talk about your team that way, they’re not really concerned about what others think and just focused on getting better day by day.

Orlando Magic players troll Eddie House after beating Celtics team twice

One can imagine how good Orlando players felt after securing their second victory over Boston, which had owned the NBA's best record until its recent swoon. Let alone after Eddie House painted a mark on the Celtics back. And, boy, did the Magic hit their mark.

After securing their win, they made sure that House got a taste of his own.

After the game, Wendell Carter Jr. fired back at House by tweeting a clip of former Magic guard Rafer Alston slapping House in the back of the head

Markelle Fultz and Mo Bamba then posted the exact same GIF.

One can imagine that the team had this GIF ready for after their win.

With the dominance seen from the Celtics this season, Orlando's win in the first matchup was a big statement. To win the second, however, showed the league that this team might be growing into something.

That is especially true for the young Paolo Banchero. The No. 1 pick is averaging 22.0 points per game in his rookie season.

Even the Orlando Magic’s Twitter page took to the comedy, posting a funny picture of Moritz Wagner after he clutched up free throws for the game.
