When fans learned that three-time MVP Nikola Jokic has given his Serbian teammates expensive gifts, they went crazy.
The Serbian national men's basketball team finished the 2024 Paris Olympics with a bronze medal finish. Although it wasn't the medal they hoped to win, the team was still happy to end the tournament on a high note.
Jokic splurged for his fellow Serbian basketball players as he spent $375,500 for 11 Rolex watches, according to Blic writer Milica Stulovic.
The writer shared that each watch was priced at $32,500. It was a special gesture from one of the best basketball players in the world, who pushed Team USA during their semifinal game.

The center was also named part of the All-Star Five with LeBron James, Steph Curry, Dennis Schroder and Victor Wembanyama.

The NBA is in an age where fans want to see star players play in the same team. Aside from James and Curry being mentioned for a potential team-up, other fans want to see Nikola Jokic play with Luka Doncic.
NBA legend Dirk Nowitzki shared his desire to see that happen one day and is hopeful that it would be with the Dallas Mavericks.
"I hope that would be in Dallas," Nowitzki said. "I'm not sure if that will ever happen, but obviously both are two of the best players in the world, if not the best players in the world."
