Former NBA player Larry Sanders found himself on the bitter end of social media after a video of him apologizing to the mother of his child surfaced online. Sanders allegedly assaulted her and was seen apologizing multiple times in the video. The video went viral with several news outlets reporting on the incident.

Now, she has stepped forward and explained the entire incident, revealing her reason for accusing him of assault. She also talked about her mental health revealing that she was suffering from postpartum depression.

She remarked that the video was from February, thanked the fans for their support and asked them not to repost the video anymore.

"There are a lot of women who deal with domestic violence in silence and it breaks us down mentally. So do I have a mental problem? Yes, I suffer from postpartum depression."

Larry Sanders returns to professional basketball amid domestic violence accusations

Former Milwaukee Bucks player Larry Sanders has not addressed the accusations of domestic violence against him in any form. Moreover, there are reports of him returning to the hard court seven years following his NBA exit in 2017. According to Hoops Hype, Sanders has signed a one-year deal with the Taiwanese team, the Taiwan Beer Leopards, for the 2024-25 season.

He last played for the Cleveland Cavaliers and was waived after appearing in only five games in the 2016-17 season. He had spent the majority of his career at the Milwaukee Bucks, who drafted him as the 15th overall pick in the 2010 NBA draft. However, after not meeting the expectations and violating the NBA's drug policy, he was let go in 2015 as the Bucks bought out his contract.
