"Facts!!!! Love to see it"- LeBron James is hyped up after Angel Reese leads LSU to the NCAA title over Caitlin Clark and Iowa
LeBron James expressed excitement on social media after the LSU Tigers' women's team won the NCAA title over the Iowa Hawkeyes. Angel Reese knocked down Caitlin Clark and proved her haters wrong after putting up a double-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 5 assists. As a result, Reese was named the most outstanding player for her performance.
LeBron James had nothing but love despite all the criticism Angel Reese has been receiving. James is also a polarizing figure in the NBA, which means he knows what it's like when it comes to proving haters wrong. Josiah Johnson tweeted a fitting GIF that represents how Reese is responding to her doubters at the moment. LBJ couldn't help but agree and tweeted:
"FACTS!!!! Love to see it"
Should LeBron James be hyped up for a potential playoff run this season?
Last season, the LA Lakers missed out on the playoffs, and LeBron James was extremely disappointed. He vowed on social media to never miss the playoffs again. However, James eventually deleted the tweet midway through the season, as all hope seemed lost for the Lakers during the first half of the year.
Fortunately, things started to turn around after LA made the huge decision to trade away Russell Westbrook. Now, with better key players on the team, it appears that the Lakers are set to make a playoff run this year. Looking at the current standings in the West, the Purple and Gold (40-38) are one win away from taking over the 6th seed, given that the LA Clippers (41-38) will lose their next game.
If this happens, LeBron will finally have the opportunity to redeem himself in the playoffs. Fans aren't necessarily expecting the Lakers to win the championship, but that doesn't mean they aren't capable of making a deep run in the postseason. Looking at LA right now, they're a tougher team to beat now that they're ranked second in the league in terms of defense.
If Darvin Ham can effectively strategize on how to effectively utilize his team's strengths, then the Lakers shouldn't have a problem keeping up with the other contenders in the west. Hopefully, Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Austin Reaves, and D'Angelo Russell can come up big in the postseason.
