FanDuel Network analyst Michelle Beadle drops n-word on air courtesy of a slip of the tongue, leaves former NBA stars in splits
Reporter and host Michelle Beadle slipped up on air on Friday. The FanDuel Network analyst was speaking on FanDuel TV and clearly made a mistake as she meant to say "Nuggets," when referring to the Colorado-based NBA franchise.
Beadle recovered well but her colleagues, Lou Williams and Chandler Parsons, both former NBA players, were left in splits after the awkward situation. Parsons kept his composure and simply covered his mouth, but Williams couldn't hold back his laughter and even went on to tease Beadle for the slip-up.
"You going to be in trouble today," said Williams.
Beadle has established herself as one of the NBA's top reporters over the last two decades. She was born in Italy and moved to Texas at a young age and later went on to attend the University of Texas Austin and the University of Texas San Antonio, receiving her degree from the latter.
Michelle Beadle's close ties to the city of San Antonio helped her get her first opportunity in the field with the San Antonio Spurs, which eventually led to further opportunities in the sports media industry. She has gone on to work for some of the nation's top media companies including ESPN, FOX Sports and NBA TV.
Michelle Beadle clarified that she was not the woman in Shannon Sharpe's viral NSFW video
Sports media personalities are known to make the occasional mistake and NFL Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe found himself in an unusual situation in September. Sharpe accidentally left his Instagram live video on and shared an intimate video of himself. Sharpe can be heard moaning and breathing heavily and the name "Michelle" was heard in the background.
The incident led to analyst Michelle Beadle taking to social media to clarify that it was not her in the video. Beadle posted a succinct and direct message on X (formerly known as Twitter), to clear up any misunderstanding.
"It was not me," stated Beadle with a grinning face emoji.
Sharpe later revealed that it was in fact him on the video and stated that he was embarrassed by the situation. He also said that it was simply him being a "healthy, active male."
