Fans go berserk after LeBron James is feared to sit out indefinitely for LA Lakers: “SOMEBODY PUT A BULLET IN MY SKULL”
LeBron James is expected to be on the sidelines for the LA Lakers' Tuesday game due to a foot injury he sustained Sunday against the Dallas Mavericks. After NBA insider Shams Charania reported that James will be out indefinitely, fans of the superstar and the team couldn't contain how devastated they are.
The Athletic's Charania reported that the Lakers star won't be making his return anytime soon, as the injury is serious. There is no timetable on his road to recovery, and he will be re-evaluated in the coming weeks. James played through the injury and was seen walking with a limp after Sunday's 111-108 win.
Earlier Monday night, James posted a video on his Instagram showing his injured right foot.
His injury puts the Lakers' season in jeopardy as they try to make a final push to be included in the playoff race this season. After missing out on the postseason while going 33-49 last year, James and his squad are trying to return to the playoffs this year.
Los Angeles (29-32) is 12th in the Western Conference, two spots away from a spot in the play-in tournament.
We've collected some of the best reactions from fans regarding LeBron's recent injury.
In addition to LeBron's inavailability, D'Angelo Russell and Anthony Davis could missTuesday's game as well. They are listed as doubtful and probable, respectively.

With LeBron James' injury, is it safe to assume that the Lakers' season is over?
The Lakers are trying their best to stay hopeful this season, despite the many setbacks they've encountered. Now, their goal of making a return to the playoffs is looking bleak, with LeBron James expected to miss multiple games.
Los Angeles had a moment of hope when they traded for D'Angelo Russell at the deadline. The team looked poised and was playing great basketball. Russell looked like the perfect point guard to be paired with James and Davis, as he's more controlled when orchestrating the offense.
Davis has also played impressively for the Lakers this season and his game became a huge part of winning games. However, injuries have limited AD to 37 games this season.
With all that considered, the Lakers' campaign isn't looking bright. Despite the changes made at the deadline, the team doesn't have a lot to offer outside of its stars. The 2022-23 season is looking like another disappointing season for Los Angeles, and they don't have Russell Westbrook to blame any more.
