Shannon Sharpe breaks silence on viral IG live video

NFL icon Shannon Sharpe found himself in the midst of a controversy and the subject of many jokes. This was after a video of him getting intimate with a woman on his Instagram live went viral on Wednesday.

The clip has now amassed over thousands of views and although Shrape claimed that his account was hacked, he couldn't save himself from becoming a subject of jokes.

Following the unfortunate incident, Shannon Sharpe admitted to doing the deed with the woman on the latest episode of his podcast, 'Nightcap'.

"I am embarrassed. Someone that is extremely private, and to have one of your most intimate details, the audio heard for the entire world?" Sharpe said. "I'm embarrassed for a number of reasons ... I'm very disappointed in myself, not for the act but to have your most intimate detail heard."

Sharpe explained that he had not used the live feature on Instagram before and that he did not turn it on. However, after some time, he started receiving calls from several people, even from the ones he hadn't ever talked to.

When he picked up Jamie's call, he realized that his deeds were live and that the whole world had listened to him in a most intimate situation.
