Fans mock Mark Cuban for complaining about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s long free-throw routine: "Call about luka’s flopping too", “He’s a snitch Lmfao"

Giannis Antetokounmpo is known for his tenacity in the paint, which causes him to draw a ton of fouls. However, Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban isn't a fan of the Greek Freak taking too long in his free-throw routine before attempting his free throws.

On Nov. 27, the Milwaukee Bucks and the Mavs matched up against each other in a close game, ending in a 124-115 Bucks win. During the game, Antetokounmpo had 10 free-throw attempts, which meant the crowd had to watch the time-consuming routine of the forward.

Mavs owner Mark Cuban isn't fond of the way the six-time All-Star has a lengthy free-throw routine. This caused his team to call the NBA and complain about it.

"I have no idea why they didn’t do that in a 1-point game," Cuban said.
Also, Cuban says Mavs called NBA about Giannis taking more than allowed 10 seconds to shoot FTs in teams’ 1st meeting 2 weeks ago. NBA told Mavs it would be called but in Friday’s rematch Giannis took up to 12 seconds. “I have no idea why they didn’t do that in a 1-point game.” twitter.com/townbrad/statu…

Fans reacted to what Cuban said. Some even brought up the fact that Luka Doncic tends to complain like his team's owner. Here are some of the reactions from fans mocking the famed businessman.

@TheNBACentral He’s a snitch Lmfao
@TheNBACentral That’s generational hating right there lol
@TheNBACentral Luka doesn’t complain enough Mark?? @mcuban
@TheNBACentral no wonder luka is the whiniest player in the league, look at the owner
@TheNBACentral How about the mavs just worry about hitting their own free throws…
@TheNBACentral Well there goes the 1% chance luka and Giannis teamed up in Dallas thanks Mark
@TheNBACentral “Yea Hello NBA this Nigga Giannis be taking too long at the line u need to step in I finished 2 movies & shower & still he’s only half way through his routine” https://t.co/opyzKkjBRv
@TheNBACentral Worry about employing a better free throw coach first brother, our players can’t even made them
@TheNBACentral Call about luka’s flopping too
@TheNBACentral Mark Cuban should focus on making his team competitive and stop worrying about Giannis fts
@TheNBACentral Shut up Mark you’re just had that your pathetic franchise can’t make free throws
@TheNBACentral How about he call a real scout to help him draft and his gm to make trades for real assets
@TheNBACentral He should have called the league to complain about his own team’s inability to hit free throws!
@TheNBACentral We should be calling the NBA to complain about Luka’s endless flopping

Many of the reactions were also directed at Mavs star Luka Doncic. The Slovenian wonder is notorious for bending some of the offensive rules in his favor, giving him a huge advantage. Additionally, Dallas' inconsistencies from the free throw line affected their performance.

The Mavericks only converted 64.0% of their shots from the charity stripe. They shot 16-for-25, which gave the Bucks an advantage, ultimately winning the game.

Ever since changing his free-throw routine, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been the apple of the eye for fans when it comes to making shots from the charity stripe. His usual way of making shots from the free-throw line has encouraged fans to mock the Bucks' star on every trip to the line.

Antetokounmpo's free-throw shooting hasn't improved as well, he's still making 71.3% of his shots from the line in his career. In fact, he's been shooting worse this season, only making 62.7%. Giannis is taking up too much of the fans' time, but not making his shots count.

Still, there's optimism that he can improve that aspect of his game. After all, he is a hard worker. However, officials shouldn't make an exception and monitor the time he consumes before shooting. The 2021 Finals MVP takes up almost 10 seconds, with fans having already made their own routine whenever he's at the line.

Basketball relies heavily on time, and waiting for a superstar to complete a routine isn't an entertaining sight. Even other stars have complained about the amount some officials have given the Greek Freak in certain games.
