Fans post nutty reactions to the new "House Party" remake featuring LeBron James and Anthony Davis - “Now he's ruining house party”, "they need to stop touching the classics", "The party takes place at LeBron's house!"

With the trailer for the "House Party" reboot dropping earlier today, fans couldn't help but share their thoughts.
People know that James gets involved in other areas of life. From various business ventures to producing films, James is expanding his influence. Prior to his involvement in the "House Party" movie, the Lakers star also starred in "Space Jam: A New Legacy." The movie wasn't well received when it was released. The comparisons between him and Michael Jordan just got deeper.

Due to this, fans are skeptical about having James involved in the new reboot of the movie. While some fans like the idea of a modern take on the movie, there are some that think otherwise. Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter.
Warner Bros. Studios has set the release date for the movie as Jan. 13. LeBron James won't just be in the movie, but he'll also be producing it through his company, Springhill Company. The new "House Party" movie will be directed by Calmatic.
The original movie was released in 1990 as an American comedy directed by Reginald Hudlin. Some of the most recognizable actors in the famed 1990 classic were Martin Lawrence, Christopher "Kid" Reid and Tisha Campbell.
LeBron James and Anthony Davis should be enough for the Lakers
The LA Lakers have been underwhelming the past two seasons. The team hasn't done enough to be a threat in the Western Conference. It's clear that the Lakers need to change.
As the fourth season of the James-Davis era approaches, the team is expected to turn things around. But it's not easy. Instead of going with what it truly believes in, the team's front office listened to the cries of the stars. The Lakers could've just traded for Buddy Hield and Myles Turner, but they chose Russell Westbrook.
On paper, having two superstars should be enough to contend in the West. With James and Davis, the Lakers could've easily just assembled a team of capable role players to surround their stars. In hindsight, the team was better off without having a third All-Star.
The team is now trying its best to get everyone on the same page. Both James and Davis missed out on a lot last season. The Lakers still have Russell Westbrook despite trying to trade him over the summer. But because of his struggles last season and massive contract, it was impossible to get rid of him.
James and the Lakers will start their season against the defending champions, the Golden State Warriors. The Warriors will hold their ring night before the game, and it might just encourage the Lakers to do well this season.
