Fans react as "Rizz God" Shams Charania flirts yet again with Kay Adams: “Shams shooting from the LOGO right now with a triple-double!”

Shams Charania of The Athletic has made a name for himself as one of the most reliable news sources in the NBA. Along with ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi, he has made waiting for news updates incredibly thrilling for most fans since he started blowing up the scene.

Charania is currently making waves online, but not because of his breaking news stories. He's started to trend on Twitter after flirting again with Kay Adams. Wednesday was National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and Charania wanted to recognize Adams, with whom he works closely in sports media.

"We're both from Chicago, we're both Aries, you're a Missouri grad, that was in my top three (colleges)," Charania said Thursday on FanDuel TV's "Up and Adams." "I didn't go to Missouri. Your parents were immigrants. My parents were immigrants.
"I just wanted to say, you get your flowers, just everything you've built, I have a lot of respect. I know yesterday was Women in Sports Day. Congrats to everything you've done, keep building. It was a big day yesterday, I just wanted to make sure you got your love, that's all."

Following this, fans couldn't get enough of what had happened. This resulted in absurd reactions from fans of Charania.

This isn't the first time the two have shared a flirty moment together on air. At the start of the season, it was Adams who initiated the flirtatious vibes with Charania. While Shams played it sweet this time around, Kay went a little too ambitious as she flirted with the famed reporter.

While Charania was still talking, Adams surprisingly interrupted the reporter. You can view this at the 3:05 mark.

"So, when we have kids." Adams said.

What to expect from Shams Charania at the upcoming trade deadline

Shams Charania has made a huge following due to his reliability as a journalist covering the NBA. He's usually the go-to guy for most fans during this time of the season. With a lot of buzz going on as the Feb. 9 trade deadline approaches, there are some trades that we should expect Charania to be the first person to know about.

The Toronto Raptors have reported that they are looking for a trade partner for OG Anunoby. So far, there have been at least seven teams interested in trading for the veteran forward. With that, Charania could be the first reporter to break the news to everyone.

The Raptors are looking for young players in trade talks centered around OG Anunoby and Fred VanVleet, per ESPN’s Brian Windhorst

“Guys in the league to put around the core that they have around Rookie of the Year Scottie Barnes.” https://t.co/Sh6804XQXf

One team that people should keep an eye on during the trade deadline is the LA Lakers. They've been trying to improve their roster since last season and have only started to make significant moves this season. It's bound to be a busy trade deadline for the Lakers and Shams Charania.
