Fans roast Kyle Kuzma for his funky pre-game outfit as he arrives in Dallas: "Drug test incoming", "I thought this was a GTA character"
Kyle Kuzma has been known to wear some interesting pre-game outfits, and Tuesday night's matchup with the Dallas Mavericks was no different. The Washington Wizards forward showed up to the contest wearing a ski mask, cardigan, and no shirt. Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the outfit.
Twitter user @TS_DRLB suggested that Kuzma may be on drugs, stating:
"Drug test incoming"
@Spartan901 added:
"I thought this was a GTA character"
@BronGotGame stated:
"He care more about his pregame fits than anything else"
@barrymckocnerr shared a similar sentiment:
"If this dude focused as much on his game as his outfits he’d be a very solid basketball player"
@macexmets seemed very agitated with the outfit, claiming
"This why you don’t take people serious. Just cause your rich doesn’t mean your cool. Obviously my comments mean nothing but he’ll get karma eventually"
@The1stTargaryen claimed the authorities needed to be involved:
"If my teammate ever walked into the locker room wearing this fit I would simply call the local authorities"
@Curry4daW noted that he may just be trying to keep his name in the headlines:
"Nobody watches the Wizards so this his only way to get his name in the headlines"

How has Kyle Kuzma fared in his second season with the Washington Wizards?
Now in his sixth season in the league, Kyle Kuzma is having the best season of his young career. The Washington Wizards forward is averaging a career-high 21.8 points, 7.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, 0.5 steals, and 0.4 blocks per game while shooting a career-high 45.7% from the field, 34.2% from 3-point range and 69.6% from the free-throw line.
Despite Kuzma's improved play, the Wizards have struggled as they are just 20-26 and currently sit in 12th place in the Eastern Conference. There was speculation that the organization could trade Kuzma, as it was initially reported that he did not plan to remain in Washington D.C., however, he recently attempted to put an end to those rumors.
Speaking with Joshua Robbins of The Athletic, Kuzma shared that he expects negotiations with the front office to begin soon before stating:
"It is a source of peace, because any time somebody wants you, that’s a good thing. You want to be wanted in this world. You don’t want to be not-wanted... For anybody to want to keep you long term, that’s a blessing... They showed me love. They have allowed me to have a platform to show my game and show the league I’m not just a role player."
The Wizards shipping out Rui Hachimura to the Los Angeles Lakers indicates that re-signing Kyle Kuzma may be a priority. It remains to be seen if the two sides can reach an agreement on a long-term deal.
