Fans send in rib-tickling reactions to LeBron James' cryptic tweet: "LeAubrey Drake Graham"

LA Lakers superstar LeBron James recently shared a cryptic message on Twitter. In light of Kyrie Irving's trade, however, fans induced the tweet's relevance to the situation and sent in some hilarious responses to it.

LeBron James has been successful in communicating his thoughts on issues via some cryptic comments. Given the amount of latitude he has with teams and the executive power he holds in most cases, James is known to leverage this to aid his situation.

The LA Lakers' pursuit of Kyrie Irving was one such situation in which LeBron made an attempt to wield this power.

When rumors of Irving's request for a trade were made known, the Lakers were presented as suitors among some other teams to land the Brooklyn Nets superstar.

When LBJ was questioned about the impact Irving would have on helping the Lakers win, he responded by saying it was a "duh" question. He also expressed the urgency with which the Purple and Gold needed to make a move. Thus, making use of more subliminal messaging to facilitate change.

Much to LeBron James' dismay, Irving saw himself heading West to join Luka Doncic.

Days before the trade deadline, the Brooklyn Nets agreed to trade Kyrie Irving and Markieff Morris to the Dallas Mavericks for Spencer Dinwiddie and Dorian Finney-Smith.

The news of the trade certainly came as a shock to a lot of people. However, LeBron's comments, which are presumed to be about the trade, following the trade announcement were particularly questionable.

James tweeted:

"Maybe It's Me"
Maybe It’s Me

Needless to say, fans were relentless when they came across the tweet on their feed. Assuming that the tweet was the superstar's reaction to the trade, some fans sent in some hilarious reactions to the message.

The Lakers' pursuit of Kyrie Irving resulted in a failure. However, several avenues remain open for the team. With talks with teams such as the San Antonio Spurs and Charlotte Hornets still underway, the Purple and Gold can still make a play before the deadline.

LeBron James' disappointment with the LA Lakers is invalid

LeBron James' comments could be indicative of his disappointment with the LA Lakers' front office. Given their failure to make a move that could significantly boost the team's chances of winning, James would be valid in feeling this way too.

However, with regards to the pursuit of Kyrie Irving, James may be in the wrong.

As per The Athletic's Shams Charania, the Lakers were willing to offer Russell Westbrook and two first-round picks for Irving. However, the Nets also wanted pick swaps along with Austin Reaves and Max Christie.

Brooklyn's demands could be seen in two ways. One sees Brooklyn attempt to "fleece" the Lakers to make the trade happen. Another, however, suggests that the Nets never wanted to send Irving to the Lakers.

As per Marc Stein, however, the latter was the intent of Nets owner Joe Tsai. Tsai never intended to send Irving to the Lakers. In this regard, the trade demand was merely a way of sending a message to the guard.

All in all, LeBron James and the Lakers are in a bit of a sticky situation. However, with a few options to play with, the Purple and Gold will hope to improve their current state.
