FIRST LOOK | Austin Reaves and Rigorer announce all-new AR2 signature shoe set to release on KICKS CREW Dec. 7

On the heels of the massive success of the Rigorer AR1, Lakers star Austin Reaves is set to release his all-new Rigorer AR2 signature shoe this Friday.

The two-tone 'Fusion' colorway, which comes with a pair of performance socks, features a unique design that plays off itself with one shoe featuring a primarily pink design with green accents, and the other featuring a green design with pink accents.

According to a press release from KICKS CREW, who will handle the exclusive release of the shoes alongside Rigorer, the shoes will be available on Rigorer's site and KICKSCREW.com on Dec. 7 at 11 a.m. ET / 8 a.m. PT for $120.

The shoes build on the legacy of Austin Reaves' signature line in a big way, releasing a one-of-a-kind box that includes a heartfelt message from Reaves printed along the inside. In the aforementioned press release from KICKS CREW, Reaves spoke about his excitement surrounding the release of the AR2:

“I'm incredibly excited to unveil the Rigorer AR2. This shoe represents not just my growth as a player but also the evolution of our partnership with KICKS CREW.
"The theme continues to inspire me both on and off the court, reminding me of the transformation I've undergone to become the player I am today. I hope this story inspires all my fans and the next generation of players."

Looking at the specs of Austin Reaves' Rigorer AR2 shoes ahead of Friday's release

Austin Reaves' second signature shoe includes plenty of the same technology included in the Rigorer AR1 design, as well as some all-new technology from Rigorer.

The biggest difference between the two shoes is the materials used, with the AR2 utilizing a Woven Butterfly Wing Upper that provides the same lockdown support fans know and love, along with added breathability. In addition, the difference in materials provides for a more lightweight upper when compared to the AR1s.

Much like the AR1, Austin Reaves' second signature shoe utilizes a Showtime Foam Tech Midsole which stretches the length of the shoe. This performance tech boasts 70% more energy return than competitors, while also keeping athletes fresh during long training sessions.

There's also some familiar tech, such as an anti-slip sole and the Anti-Torsion TPU plate, which KICKS CREW explains:

"Enhances midfoot rigidity and improves torsional resistance, ensuring players stay secure during quick movements."

Fans can sign up for the AR2 launch on KICKS CREW, which also enters fans into a giveaway to win one of three pairs ahead of the Dec. 7 launch.
