“For me, this was like the ultimate f**k you to everybody” – Draymond Green asserts winning 4th championship has answered all criticism against him

Draymond Green has always been somebody that voices his opinion and it makes him who he is. Some don't agree with the things that come out of his mouth, whether that be on social media, his podcast, or during the game. It would be tough to argue that Draymond isn't one of the best competitors that's ever played the game.

He's a superstar in his role and a big reason why the Golden State Warriors have found the type of success that they have throughout the past few seasons.

A new video has surfaced where Draymond Green talked about which one of his NBA Championships was the most important to his career from his perspective. Draymond had several interesting things to say about this.

"It's this one. Because for me, this is like the ultimate f*** you to everybody. Yall wrote us off. Mother f****** definitely wrote me off and left me for dead. I went from playing in five straight NBA finals to playing, I don't even know what we were playing.
"Like we were switching game plans every game because Steve was trying to find something to work. He's coming to me like, 'Hey Draymond I wish I could just give you a red shirt year'.

Draymond Green then explained the team's inexperience was one of the reasons they struggled. He said they tried out several approaches to find the one that suits their personnel.

"Because we had a bunch of young guys that didn't know anything. He like this game we gonna play in the drop, the next day we trapping the ball screen, the next game we in the ice. I'm like yo what the f*** is this and I knew what Steve was trying to do, he was trying to figure it out. But going through that year and everybody telling me ah you washed.
"Like how you think I'm supposed to care about this game we are f****** 14-52 like I don't care. So what's my favorite one? It's that you know why because it's a big f*** you to everybody who didn't believe, to mother f***** who wrote us off."

People are writing the Warriors off again

As if people didn't learn from the first few times around, they're now once again questioning whether the Golden State Warriors aren't going to be the team that they were a season ago. The start of the season for Golden State certainly hasn't been one that they're hoping to remember.

Draymond Green has played well throughout the year and Golden State should be able to figure it out sooner rather than later. They came away with a 127-120 win in their most recent game and now sit at 8-9 on the season and in 11th place in the Western Conference.

Due to how early it is in the season, writing the Golden State Warriors off at this point wouldn't be the best idea from fans. If anything stays true from the past, they'll figure it out. The team takes this stuff personally and typically finds a way to prove people wrong.

Draymond Green, Stephen Curry, and Klay Thompson will likely go down as one of the best NBA trios of all time. There's even a good chance that they could win another ring if they find the level of play from years past.
