Former NBA player fires back at Shannon Sharpe for ignoring allegations on LeBron James over concentration camps in China

LeBron James has always done his best to use his platform to speak out on social justice issues. Recently, the LA Lakers star called out the media for not asking him something involving Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones.

Over the past week, an old photo of Jones has made it's way around the internet. It depicts him in a crowd of other white men looking to stop the desegregation of schools.

After the media didn't ask him about his thoughts on the photo, LeBron James took matters into his own hands. He began speaking out on the matter and told the reporters to "keep that same energy" when it comes to his former teammate Kyrie Irving.

Following this rant, FS1's Shannon Sharpe took to Twitter to applaud LeBron James for speaking out. Former NBA player Royce White responded by calling Sharpe a sellout and saying that LeBron should be asked more questions about China.

"Yeah… I hear that… but the real question is why don’t they ask him about China everyday? That’s the elephant in the room. Hey Shannon… you bourgeois sellout… Mr. flip da script when it was convenient with Kyire, Why don’t you ask LeBron about China? Can’t fool me!"

This is not the first time Royce White has made comments about LeBron James and China. Earlier this year, he spoke on how he feels Nike gave the LA Lakers forward a billion-dollar deal to keep him quiet about concentration camps.

“LeBron James was given a billion dollars by Nike, the establishment, anti-human, neo-liberal, Marxist, globalist establishment, which is also church of LGBTQ,” White said.
"He was given this billion dollars to keep his mouth shut about the single greatest humanitarian crisis of our generation. That is the two million people being placed in the concentration camps in China for no other crime other than being Muslim."

White is referring to the deal LeBron signed with Nike back in 2015. It is a lifetime contract that is valued at over one billion dollars.

Since he first signed with the sneaker company back in 2003, LeBron has been a key figure for Nike as the continue to grow. Similar to Michael Jordan, his brand has evolved beyond basketball and includes over 20 signature shoes.
