Gabrielle Union calls husband Dwyane Wade's smile her kryptonite as the couple enjoy scenic boat ride in France
Dwyane Wade and his wife, Gabrielle Union, are not ready to leave Paris yet as the couple are enjoying a few more days in France's capital city. On Tuesday morning, Union posted an update about the scenic boat ride she shared with her husband.
The 51-year-old actress took to her Instagram stories and posted a video of their boat adventure. In the next clip, she shared a picture of Wade with just his sunglasses and shorts, but with a big smile on his face. She added the caption,
"His genuine smile is my kryptonite," Union wrote.
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union were two of the big names who attended the Paris Olympic Games. While she watched some of the Olympic competitions, the former Miami Heat star covered the basketball tournament with NBC.
The couple have been together for almost 10 years now. They got married on August 30, 2014, and will celebrate their anniversary later this month.
Dwyane Wade has a unique take on his marriage to Gabrielle Union
Dwyane Wade's marriage to Gabrielle Union is different from what other NBA players have. In a conversation with Cheslie Kryst from Extra TV, he said that when he got married to the Hollywood star, he was trying to be part of her life and not change who she was.
“She had her own life before I came along. So, from my perspective, it was like okay how can I be part of the growth and the evolution of who she is and not trying to change her or stunt her growth or make her in a way that I see fit,” Wade said.
Wade added that when they started dating, he made the mistake of asking Union not to drink and put a limit on certain things. However, he later realized that it wouldn't impact their relationship positively.
Wade went on to say that his marriage to Union is different from the conventional narratives set by society.
“It’s not the man leads and a woman follows that. That’s not what we live in this house... So for me, I have a wife that works not just as hard, harder than I and she has her own career," Wade added.
Wade and Union both enjoy successful careers in their respective fields. While Union continues to act and actively participate in different causes, Wade is now a TV analyst after his successful NBA career.
