Gabrielle Union gives sneak peek into conversation between Dwyane Wade and Barack Obama
During Team USA's 86-72 win against Canada on Wednesday night, Heat legend Dwyane Wade was in attendance alongside his wife Gabrielle Union and Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony. Another familiar face who was also in attendance was former US President Barack Obama. After the showcase game, Union hilariously commented on a picture taken of the conversation between the three gentlemen.
It was a momentous event that offered fans a first glimpse of this year's USA Basketball roster putting on a show against an international opponent. With what Wade and Anthony's contributions to the program have meant in upholding a gold standard, they wanted to show support for what the 2024 roster is shaping up to be.
Union shared the picture taken by Slam magazine on Instagram.
"They are absolutely talking about golf," Union wrote.
Despite being in different professions, they still dabbled their hands at playing golf during their spare time. With the context that they could be talking about anything, Gabrielle Union provided her take on the possible subject matter.
Gabrielle Union's husband also shared the image with former US President and Knicks legend Carmelo Anthony
Similar to Union's post, former Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade also shared the same picture on his Instagram stories.
Originally, Wade visited the White House after the Heat won the 2013 championship against the San Antonio Spurs. The former US President was presented with his own Heat jersey and a basketball to celebrate Miami's back-to-back title victory.
Judging from the photo, it seems the two are catching up alongside Carmelo Anthony.
Gabrielle Union's husband commented on LeBron James' post featuring his dunk from Steph Curry's lob pass
It was incredible to witness several superstars playing under the same team to bring home the gold medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics. During the game, Lakers' LeBron James and Warriors' Stephen Curry decided it was time to put on a show for the fans and in front of the Canadian bench.
It was a fastbreak opportunity from the two NBA legends that resulted in a precise lob pass from Curry to a flying James for the hammer finish. It was a surreal play from them that had the Lakers star hyped in his Instagram post.
In response, his former teammate Dwyane Wade commented with a hint of nostalgia.
"Looks familiar," Wade wrote.
Gabrielle Union's wife is all too familiar with being part of several highlight reels that involved being the passer to one of many dunks by "King James" himself.
