Gabrielle Union warns fans against sharing information with her long-time friend Taraji P Henson's hacked X account
Dwyane Wade’s wife Gabrielle Union took to social media to warn fans about the hacked account of actor Taraji P Henson. Union, who has been a longtime friend of Henson, asked her followers on X [formely Twitter] not to share any kind of information with the hacked account.
Tagging Henson on X, the wife of the former Miami Heat player posted about what happened to the “Empire” actress’ account and gave a warning to the public.
“ALERT my girl [Taraji P Henson] account has been hacked by “UpdateRulesX”.
“If you’ve received any messages via DM DO NOT CLICK the link or share any personal information,” Union wrote.
Union and Henson both starred in the movies “Think Like A Man” in 2012 and “Think Like A Man Too” in 2014, alongside Kevin Hart and Michael Ealy. Union has stood by Henson’s side after the latter made comments about the racial pay gap in the industry.
Gabrielle Union has now jumped into the production business. She was one of the co-producers of "The Idea of You", a romantic movie starring Anne Hathaway.
Gabrielle Union says she feels “hottest” at 51
At age 51, Gabrielle Union feels like she is the hottest she's been in her life so far. In a conversation with Yahoo News, Union said that as she got older, she felt like dissolving from the gaze of others and becoming invisible. She also added that her identity as a woman was lost because of the societal gender roles.
"If you're advancing in age, there's a point where you start to feel like, 'They don't see me anymore.' And it feels like you're starting to not only lose parts of yourself, but you are actually invisible. We start to be seen as mother, wife, employee, boss. But it's not the things that really make you, you,” Union said.
She later said that only by recognizing herself she was able to love herself. Now, Union has a more positive outlook on life.
"I'm the hottest I've ever been, I feel like," Union added. "I didn't peak at 26. There's so much more to life; there's so much more meaning to be seen and to be had. So much more knowledge to gain. And I'm anything but invisible.”
Gabrielle Union has been vocal when it comes to dismantling the idea related to women’s beauty. She has not only defied ideas surrounding the notion of beauty, but she has also brought to light how women’s bodies have been subjected to unrealistic beauty standards because of social media.
