Giannis Antetokounmpo emphasizes on making "good decisions" after dominant performance against Wizards

Milwaukee Bucks superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo put up an impressive performance on Tuesday. However, while notching a career-high in the win against the Washington Wizards, Giannis placed an emphasis on the importance of making the right plays.

The Bucks notched a solid comeback win against the Wizards on Tuesday night. Behind an inspiring offensive charge led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks banded together to notch a much-needed win.

The game saw Antetokounmpo at his finest. With the Greek Freak charging down the lane, the Bucks saw several avenues to score from the inside and the outside. However, Giannis shone brightest, yet again.

Notching a career-high 55 points in the winning effort, Giannis only built upon his impressive scoring streak.

Antetokounmpo spoke about his recent stretch of high-scoring outings and his career-high night after the game. In an interview with Bally Sports Wisconsin's Zora Stephenson, he said:

"I'm just trying to make good decisions. Try to be aggressive throughout the whole game. At the end of the day, we try to win games. We lost four in a row, five in a row - I don't remember. We gave one away to Chicago. We just try to win games."

While emphasizing the absence of Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, Giannis gave props to the rest of the team to step up to the plate.

He was then asked about the significance of his 55th point being a free throw. Unfortunately, he couldn't complete the sentiment as his teammates came over and interrupted the interview by hilariously drenching him with water.

Following the event, Giannis added:

"A lot of people think my game is boring. But I'm just glad to do better. I'm trying to do whatever it takes to help my team win. I knew that I had to get better at the free-throw line and I'm just trying to put some extra work there. Find my teammates. Create for them open threes. Attacking the paint as much as I can."
Giannis put on for Milwaukee.

Oddly enough, Antetokounmpo spent almost no time speaking about what the individual accomplishment of scoring 55 points in a game felt like. Highlighting the win as a team win and praising the efforts of the unit as a whole, Giannis placed his team before everything else.

With a 123-113 win on the books, the Bucks have managed to prevent back-to-back losses against the Washington Wizards. Hoping to begin a trend upward, Milwaukee will look to develop some momentum off of this win.

Giannis Antetokounmpo appears unstoppable

Although the Milwaukee Bucks haven't necessarily been dominant in their last few outings, Giannis Antetokounmpo has been nothing short of spectacular. In the last three games, the Greek Freak has recorded a streak of 43+ point outings.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's offensive displays have certainly been awe-inspiring. In light of the Bucks missing key players in Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton, the Bucks superstar has certainly put the team on his shoulders.

However, the team has fallen upon hard times. Coming off a four-game losing streak late in December, the Bucks managed to put an end to the slide with a win against the Timberwolves. However, they immediately followed this up with a loss to the Washington Wizards.

In this regard, Tuesday night's win against Washington is massive as it prevented another losing slide. As they prepare to hit the road and play the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday in a back-to-back fixture, the Bucks will definitely need every win they can get.
