Giannis Antetokounmpo roasts Serge Ibaka over the phone: “You’re not an artist, you’re a role player, and a rebounder, and a screen setter”
Giannis Antetokounmpo has always been a jester, and this time he roasted his teammate Serge Ibaka. He left Ibaka in disbelief after calling him a role player and rebounder.
Antetokounmpo was a guest on Ibaka's "How Hungry Are You?" show and was made to eat things he was unfamiliar with. Ibaka asked a few tough questions and made the Milwaukee Bucks forward either answer or drink cricket tea. Although it happened about a month ago, Antetokounmpo was still pained by it. When he had the opportunity, he roasted the former Toronto Raptors player.
Jrue Holiday made an appearance on Ibaka's show and called Antetokoumpo via video call. When the Greek Freak saw the cricket tea, he was triggered and roasted Ibaka. In a clip making the rounds, the former Defensive Player of the Year said:
"Bro, I'm taking a nap bro. Get that sh*t outta here man. I don't wanna drink that sh*t. ... You're not a chef, you're not an artist. You're a role player and rebounder and screen setter. That's what you are. Bye."
It was undoubtedly a joke, as Antetkounmpo is a great teammate. Nonetheless, he did not mince his words as he roasted Ibaka.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is having an MVP campaign
Despite the frequent jokes, Antetokounmpo never fails to deliver on the court. Although he has had several poor shooting nights, the former NBA Finals MVP is averaging 31.1 points and 11.3 rebounds for the Bucks this season.
Antetokounmpo always leaves it all on the court, and not many understand how hard he plays. NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley recently commented on his intensity in every game.
On "NBA on TNT," Chuck lauded Antetokounmpo for his intensity every night, adding that only Russell Westbrook plays as hard:
"I gotta tell you something. We take this kid, Giannis, for granted. Other than Russell Westbrook, I'm talking about the great players. ... I've never seen a player play hard every single night like them two guys."
Even when asked about Michael Jordan, Chuck stuck to his guns. Although he mentioned Jordan as the GOAT, he does not believe Jordan was as intense.
Antetokounmpo's efforts have not gone unnoticed, as he's fourth in the KIA MVP ladder. The big man is delivering at both ends of the floor and has led the Bucks to a 20-7 record (second-best in the Eastern Conference).
