Giannis Antetokounmpo’s b’day wish went NSFW and reporters were in splits: “After I put my kids to bed…it might get a little bit freaky”
Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is celebrating his 28th birthday on December 6. The 2021 NBA champion kicked off the festivities early when he and the Milwaukee Bucks beat the Orlando Magic on Monday night.
After the game, Antetokounmpo was asked about his birthday plans. Given that the Bucks have an off day on December 6, many were eager to find out how 'The Greek Freak' would spend his birthday. Never one to pass up an opportunity to crack a joke, Antetokounmpo spoke about his plans while clutching a giant Homer Simpson stuffed toy.
He plans on spending the day with his family. But the mood will change once he puts his sons Liam and Maverick to bed. He spoke about it to the media following Monday's 109-102 win.
"I don't know if my lady has anything planned for me, hopefully have something planned for me. Maybe like a birthday cake, maybe like a birthday card, or maybe like a birthday watch."
"I would not want to go to dinner because I have a game the next day I want to be able to rest and get my treatment that I usually do and take my nap and play with my kids."
The two-time MVP hinted that things could get a little raunchy when he gets some alone time with his girlfriend.
"After I put my kids to bed, you never know what could happen. It might get a little bit freaky."

Giannis Antetokounmpo's birthday celebrations
Fans may remember when Giannis Antetokounmpo celebrated his 27th birthday last season by scoring 27 points. Before making his way back to the locker room, Antetokounmpo made a mess courtside. He took a handful of cake that the team prepared for him and rubbed it in the face of Bucks president Peter Feigin.
It was one of his most memorable moments. Giannis Antetokounmpo has also entertained fans with his social media antics. Earlier in his career, he would film himself trying various American foods for the first time.
The saga lasted for several years, with 'The Greek Freak' trying any new food he could get his hands on. He drank a smoothie for the first time in 2014, and ate a corndog in 2018. He knows how to keep his fans happy both on and off the court.
