Giannis Antetokounmpo signs deal with publishing firm to release self composed jokes book: All you need to know

Giannis Antetokounmpo has continued to make NBA fans laugh over the years. Whether it's one of his signature dad jokes, or a funny video online, Antetokounmpo knows how to have fun and entertain the masses. As fans may recall, Antetokounmpo famously carried a joke book around with him several years ago.

Now, "The Greek Freak" will have his own book of dad jokes that he can use as a reference when speaking to media members. According to reports, the former MVP has inked a deal with a publishing firm that will see him publish his own book.

Eurohoops.net broke the news, which revealed that Antetokounmpo has been working on the book for some time. Allegedly, he has been putting in work testing jokes on people and gauging reactions. He's also been coming up with some of his own jokes with the help of his brothers.

The book, which doesn't have a release date yet, is reportedly titled 'Constipation'. However, that could change leading up to the release. According to the report, the targeted release date would be sometime in December, leading up to the holiday season.

The book will have several different chapters that break down the categories of jokes and will feature jokes in both Greek and Nigerian. In addition to hardcover, paperback, and eBooks, Giannis Antetokounmpo plans to take things a step further and release an audio book narrated by him.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the dad with all the jokes

Long before he was cracking everyone up with hilariously bad dad jokes, Giannis Antetokounmpo was trying to experience everything he could about America. In 2018, he famously began his tour of the US' best and most unique foods.

During his food tour, he made sure to try all of the unique dishes he could, which included everything from corndogs and Funyuns to Red Kool-Aid. Several years later, he began to find his rhythm when it came to cracking jokes thanks to a book called "Dad Jokes: the Good. the Bad. the Terrible."

As it turns out, the author, pen-name Jimmy Niro, is a former Milwaukee resident himself. According to ESPN, who caught up with Niro last year, he was blown away when he found out "The Greek Freak" was reading his book.

"For my older kids, who always get this humor, this is the first time they've cared about this project whatsoever,"

As he makes his run towards another NBA title, Giannis Antetokounmpo will surely have plenty more jokes to bring to the press conference table post-game.
