"Got drafted to the Cowboys" - Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's wife chronicles their son's sibling bond

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope's children are growing fast. While he continues his exploits on the basketball court, his wife, McKenzie Caldwell-Pope, has been navigating her professional life and her life as a mother.

As McKenzie Caldwell-Pope has seen her sons grow, she has witnessed the chemistry between her sons Kentavious Jr. (KJ) and Kendrix.

On Sunday, McKenzie made a series of posts on her Instagram story, capturing the chronicles of her sons' sibling bonding on the football field.

In the first post, she wrote about a big play by KJ.

"And look who got a TD in their first game! His teammates were so happy for him!" McKenzie wrote.

She posted a picture of her sons' team making the entrance with Kendrix at the front. McKenzie detailed the different personalities that her sons possess on and off the field.

"Perfect example of their personalities here. Kendrix 'Primetime' Caldwell-Pope has to be seen and in the front. KJ prefers to blend in the back. And that's okay too 🤍," she wrote.

"And look who decided to play this season! I signed KJ up last fall and he refused to play. Then he saw how much Kendrix enjoyed it and got inspired. Siblings are important. 🤍," she wrote.
"Everyone thinks they're twins. They are 2 years apart and have polar opposite personalitios. Loll."

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and his wife, McKenzie Caldwell-Pope, are proud parents to five children. The Orlando Magic player has not shied away from saying that he likes having a big family around him.

However, his former teammate Kyle Kuzma recently pressed KCP to give his wife McKenzie Pope some decompression time. In an episode of "The Dawg Talk" podcast in November, Kuzma highlighted that Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and his wife have had children every year and she hadn't gotten any decompression time.

"Talk about decompressing you gotta give McKenzie some decompression brother," Kuzma said. "It's every year."

Kentavious Caldwell-Pope said that he and his wife have discussed the issue.

"We talked about it, maybe a year or two," Kentavious Caldwell-Pope replied. "But the thing is, I didn’t grow up with all my brothers and sisters. My children have each other."
