"He's Randy Moss for me" - Davante Adams names his NBA GOAT, compares Kobe Bryant to NFL legend

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams named who he thinks is the NBA GOAT and compared Kobe Bryant to a football legend. Adams appeared in the recent episode of "Club Shay Shay," a podcast hosted by NFL legend Shannon Sharpe. In this segment, he shared some of his opinions about the basketball league.

The GOAT debate is a conversation that has been talked about by various people. Adams is the most recent NFL star to give his take on the debate between LeBron James and Michael Jordan during his appearance on the show.

The California native also showed love to the late LA Lakers legend when he answered the question.

"See that? This man right here," Adams pointed at his Jordan 4 shoe. "You got your LeBrons and I love Bron. Bron is a different type of dude and I love Kobe. I got Mamba Mentality on the inside of all my cleats. It's a piece of all these guys that I love. But when you talk about just--He's (Bryant) Randy Moss for me."

Adams has named Jordan his basketball GOAT in the past. During an appearance in the "Pivot" podcast, the pass-catcher named his former teammate Aaron Rodgers as the best quarterback. He even compared him to the Chicago Bulls legend.

"He's the best quarterback, in my opinion, to play this game," Adams said. "He had the Michael Jordan effect. ... (He's) gonna make you play better ... just by being on the field."

Adams and Rodgers were teammates for seven seasons with the Green Bay Packers. While playing with the star quarterback, he led the league in receiving touchdowns in 2020.

Davante Adams believes NFL players are better athletes than NBA players

There have been debates on which sport is better, basketball or football. Even professional players have shared their thoughts on the matter. In his appearance at Sharpe's podcast, Adams shared how NFL players are more athletic than NBA players.

"The physical aspect is just one piece but when you get into the speed," Adams said. "They agile, but just being able to move on grass is different."

He also shared how the mental aspect of the game is more technical than basketball. Adams talked about how plays usually get changed quickly, which puts football players ahead in terms of the technical side of things.
