"HIMOTHY" - LeBron James and Savannah James show love to Bryce James as he poses next to BMW
LeBron James and wife Savannah shared some love for their middle child Bryce in one of their recent family night outs.
Mom Savannah took to her Instagram story and shared photos of her 16-year-old son while they were out, including some with Bryce posing next to a white BMW.
No sooner, dad LeBron James posted a comment on his son's IG, where the photos can also be seen, praising him by saying:
"HIMOTHY!"
Like his NBA superstar father, Bryce has shown interest in making a career out of playing basketball.
He has been active recently playing with his Team SFG (Strive For Greatness) in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL), playing alongside and against some of the top players in the nation aged 17 years old and below.
Bryce plays high school ball at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles and has garnered interest from various Division 1 schools, including Duquesne and Ohio State.
LeBron James is spending more time with his family these days after his season with the LA Lakers ended in the opening round of this year's playoffs. While they survived the Play-In Tournament, the erstwhile NBA champions Denver Nuggets proved to be a tougher nut to crack as the Lakers bowed in five games in the playoff proper.
LeBron James behind his sons' basketball journey
LeBron James is in full support of sons Bronny and Bryce's pursuit of their basketball dreams. And whenever possible, "King James" makes it a point to be physically present during their games.
Eldest son Bronny is in the process of realizing his goal of joining his father in playing in the NBA. He has declared for next month's NBA draft after playing just one season with the USC Trojans, where he averaged 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists on a 36.6% shooting clip in 19.4 minutes in 25 games.
While some quarters are not too high in his decision to declare for the draft, believing that he still needs more seasoning in college, Bronny is adamant about going for his NBA goal, and so is his father.
In one of his media sessions at the recent NBA draft combine, Bronny said LeBron James was keeping tabs on his progress and never failed to give pointers and words of encouragement.
The same goes for his younger brother Bryce, whose AAU basketball tournaments James has been following with wife Savannah.
LeBron recently pulled up for his son's game for Team SFG in the EYBL, cheering on Bryce and his team.
James played his 21st year in the NBA this season and remained potent, averaging 25.7 points. 8.3 assists, 7.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals in 71 games to earn All-NBA Third Team honors. He also helped the Lakers win the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament title.
