Hornets guard Tre Mann reacts sternly to viral trend linking him to Jenna Ortega: "Not sum to play ab"

Charlotte Hornets guard Tre Mann ensured that the rumors about him dating actor Jenna Ortega were settled. A post on X (formerly Twitter) claimed that the NBA point guard was "quietly spending time" with the actor over the summer. When Mann saw the post on social media, he had to make things clear for everyone.

An X user '@Tricky__Tre' claimed that Mann and Ortega had something to do with each other. His post didn't have any basis for it as no other news publication reported this development. However, he still decided to share the misleading news about the guard online.

Fortunately, Mann was able to see the original post and shared his thoughts on the matter.

"Some trends aren’t for everybody.. I have a wife and son bro. Not sum to play ab," Mann cleared the air about the news.

While the original post has since been deleted, other Hornets fan pages were able to take a screenshot of what was originally posted.

The fan who had posted about the misinformation issued an apology to the NBA player and volunteered to delete the post. He admitted that he was simply messing around and didn't mean any harm with what he did.

"@tre2mann3 my bad bro I didn’t know you had a wife and was j messing around. Stupid on my part and I apologize," the fan posted on X.

Who is Tre Mann's wife and son?

Tre Mann may be a young guard, but he's already started a family of his own. Mann married Elissa on July 23, 2023, after being together for some time. Not much is known about his wife as she opts to live a more private life than her husband.

Together, they welcomed their son, Elias Lee, on Feb. 3, 2024. Mann posted a few photos of himself with his son and their journey as first-time parents. He also had a touching message on Instagram about welcoming their firstborn child.
