Steph Curry wins NBA's best-teammate award

Steph Curry was awarded the Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year. Per the NBA's statement, the honor was given to the 36-year-old for being "the player deemed the best teammate based on selfless play, on- and off-court leadership as a mentor and role model to other NBA players, and commitment and dedication to team."

Previous recipients of the awards include Damian Lillard, Jrue Holiday, and Mike Conley. Curry was presented the award by head coach Steve Kerr who spoke about why the sharpshooter deserved the award pre-game. Per the San Francisco Chronicle:

"What makes Steph unique is just his blend of humility and humor and confidence. He just sets a great tone every day. Loves practice. Loves the work. So, you come in and the vibe is where it should be – day after day after day, because of Steph.”

Now, the Warriors will hope Curry will help the side make a deep playoff run and make his claim for his fifth ring.
