One key personal-professional moment of Anthony Edwards that may feature in the series is when he left an NBA game midway to witness the birth of his daughter. The 22-year-old logged 19 minutes against the Sacramento Kings on March 1 before being ruled out for the second half of the game, citing personal reasons.
Currently enjoying the offseason, Edwards is coming off his best season in the NBA yet. The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 25.9 points, 5.4 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.3 steals in the regular season and also finished seventh in the MVP race.
